WHY WE DO IT?

Teaching and learning provide a foundation in which we can continue our development personally and professionally. This section is mainly designed to showcase that we practice what we preach. Whether we are actively teaching or devoted to researching, we are learning too. Our knowledge and lifelong desire to learn helps steer the ship in your career development or marketing and branding. This can be a "think-tank" or "incubator" for ideas or plans, but without the teaching and research there is no support or data to back them up. That is why we do it.

PHILOSOPHIES

--- Work Ethic ---

Level 10 Philosophy - Some days you'll feel like a Level 6 and you have to get to Level 10. There are two primary choices in life; to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them. I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal. And you have to be willing to work for it.

--- Teaching ---

As a teacher, I'm also a coach. This style of management is designed to be heavy on intervention, thus correcting mistakes as they are, and not waiting for an official review where the opportunity to use a “teachable moment” would have passed. This style also demonstrates the importance of the student and the value of what they’re doing, where they're going and how they are growing.

--- Mentor/Advising ---

My intent is to teach these young professionals and people to do things the right way. It's to inspire and motivate while providing a positive impact on them and to do this all with class.

Teaching/mentoring

Teaching does not stop outside of the classroom. Mentoring starts with building a relationship focused on development and showing an interest in the student's career (professional and personal) goals. The intent is to teach these young professionals and people to do things the right way. It's to inspire and motivate while providing a positive impact on them and to do this all with class.
